About The Position
The Hand Packer is responsible for manually packaging finished products in accordance with company quality and safety standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate counts, proper labeling, and careful handling of products before shipment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, sort, and pack finished products into boxes or containers according to specifications.
- Check product quality for defects or inconsistencies before packaging.
- Assemble boxes, seal, label, and stack them on pallets for shipping.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any issues with equipment, materials, or product quality to the supervisor.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with other warehouse or production duties as assigned.
- Identify and report hazards in the production process.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, gloves, etc.
