About The Position

As a Field Merchandiser for Hallmark, you will work independently to manage product placement and inventory in various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to build retailer relationships, and representing the Hallmark brand. You will collaborate with local store teams, support seasonal resets and installations, and occasionally work with other products. The position involves day-to-day engagement using a mobile device for restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products, as well as communication and reporting. Significant holiday support is required, including additional hours and potential weekend/holiday work around major seasonal events. You may also participate in department resets, which involve building and installing fixtures, relocating departments, and resetting card sections, sometimes with advance notice for evening or weekend work. As part of Hallmark's field organization, you will also support other team members in their territories as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to read, write and understand English.
  • Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
  • Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Work independently to showcase organization and time management skills.
  • Establish retailer relationships.
  • Represent Hallmark as the face of the company.
  • Collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels.
  • Support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations.
  • Perform service work in Hallmark departments within various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers.
  • Utilize a provided mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory.
  • Use technology for day-to-day tasks, supervisor communication, time reporting, providing feedback, and answering surveys for required merchandising activities.
  • Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
  • Manage the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
  • Work additional days and extended hours during the work week leading up to and following holidays.
  • Work on actual holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day) and weekends when required.
  • Participate in department resets, including building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
  • Support other team members as needed in their territories.
