About The Position

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to utilize your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. Occasionally, you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be able to read, write and understand English.
  • Have the ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Be able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
  • Have access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department.
  • Use technology for day-to-day work, communication with your supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering surveys for required merchandising activities.
  • Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
  • Be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
  • Provide holiday support, which includes additional days and extended hours during the work week leading up to and following major holidays (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).
  • Work on actual holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day), which may include weekends.
  • Participate in Department Resets, which may involve building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
  • Support other team members in their territories as needed, as part of Hallmark's field organization.
