About The Position

We are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program, a paid, full-time, 9-week experience from June 1st to July 31st. Based in our New Jersey and New York offices, this program offers hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, along with impactful projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. About our NARS Global Marketing Team: The NARS Global Marketing Team acts as stewards of the brand and is responsible for bringing products to life from innovation concepts to go-to-market plans, partnering cross-functionally across the organization. This internship will support the NARS Global Marketing team, contributing strategic ideas to product innovation, consumer insights, and global marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree
  • Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized
  • Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented
  • Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment
  • Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends

Nice To Haves

  • Hard skills: PowerPoint, Excel, market/data analysis, public speaking
  • Soft skills: Creative, actively contributes ideas, team player – low ego, strong sense of urgency, ability to manage details and projects while responding to changing priorities and feedback
  • Must have an authentic passion for beauty and be immersed in understanding new products, trends (both within beauty industry and within digital platforms), consumer behavior, and brand marketing strategies

Responsibilities

  • Acting as key owner of competitive analysis to develop meaningful insights
  • Contributing to brand presentations
  • Executing individual internship project
  • Actively attending cross-functional meetings
  • Supporting team with ad hoc requests (utilizing competitive research tools such as NPD/Circana, Beaute, and Daash)
  • Store visits
