We are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program, a paid, full-time, 9-week experience from June 1st to July 31st. Based in our New Jersey and New York offices, this program offers hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, along with impactful projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. Requirements
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized
- Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented
- Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment
- Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
Responsibilities
- Support Specialty Product Development team in all aspects of developing products for launch
- Conduct competitive and trend research to support collection ideation
- Conduct competitive research on claims for new, limited-edition formulas
- Work with Product Development Manager to learn shade matching and approval process
- Assist in creating arm swatches, on model and swatch videos for Marketing Bulletins
- Assist team in preparing hand samples and fulfilling comp requests for all Specialty launches
- Assist team in purchasing competitive products and placing orders on Nu Order for all Specialty launches
- Maintain and organize product closets
