Culmen is seeking Haitian Creole Interpreters to advance our critical mission in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. This position requires deployments to Haiti. A Haitian Creole Interpreter is instrumental in promoting effective and culturally aware communication between speakers of Haitian Creole and English. This vital service supports individuals who are Limited English Proficient (LEP) by helping to eliminate language barriers in important contexts. The interpreter is dedicated to delivering precise, comprehensive, and clear interpretations in both directions (Haitian Creole to English and vice versa), enabling all participants to engage meaningfully in conversations. By prioritizing strict confidentiality, the interpreter fosters a safe space for open communication and adheres to ethical standards within the profession. The interpreter proactively records important details of each session, including the date, time, duration, and type of service, ensuring an organized and transparent approach to their work.
