About The Position
Our Early Intervention programs provide services to families with children birth to 3 years of age with developmental delays or at risk for developmental delays. The primary focus of early intervention is to provide education, training and support to families to help their children learn and grow. We provide home and center based services. Provide in person and telephone interpreting for families with limited or no English language. Facilitate communication between parents/caregivers and early intervention staff. Schedule visits for early intervention staff Provide interpreting services for early intervention visits including intake, evaluation and home visits. $25-30 per hour
Requirements
- Verbal fluency in both English and language of specific population served.
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for in person interpreting services
- Understanding of interpreter role in encouraging and fostering direct communication between provider and parent/caregiver.

- Interpreting experience preferred
