About The Position

Step into the heart of our food packaging line From the moment your shift begins, you set the tone for safe, consistent, and efficient production. You start by walking the line, confirming sanitary conditions, and verifying that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP controls are in place. You check designated CCPs for the line you’re running, prepare the machine for operation, and make sure every standard that protects product integrity is ready to go. A day in this role Begin with pre-run inspections: ensure the machine is clean and equipment is in safe, ready condition. Close out with thorough post-run checks and sanitation. Operate with food safety front and center: follow all elements of Food Safety, meeting GMP, HACCP, and proper packaging standards at all times. Leverage your HACCP training: know and monitor the line’s CCPs to keep product within spec. Run and monitor key systems: properly use checkweigher and metal detectors & X-Ray machines to confirm accuracy and product safety. Understand the machinery you operate: apply basic troubleshooting techniques to keep the line moving. Own the paperwork: successfully complete all required line documentation, partnering with the Foreman, Supervisor, and Quality Tech as needed. Model best practices: follow all SOPs and SSOPs and set the example for others on the line. Communicate clearly with Production leadership and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues quickly. Support the team: train new and current employees on equipment with oversight from the Foreman and Supervisor. Stay adaptable: be flexible with scheduling and available as business needs change. Execute additional assignments as designated by the line Foreman or Supervisor. Requirements

HACCP training
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
