About The Position

Charles Evans Center (CEC Healthcare) is seeking a Board-Certified Gynecologist to join our mission-driven, outpatient Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Bethpage, NY. This is a rare opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to underserved populations—including women with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities—while maintaining an exceptionally flexible schedule. Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution
Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Active, unrestricted New York State medical license
DEA registration
Experience performing in-office gynecologic procedures

Nice To Haves

Experience in FQHC or community health settings
Experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Spanish language proficiency

Responsibilities

Preventive care (annual exams, cancer screenings, STI testing)
In-office procedures (Pap smears, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, IUD/implant placement & removal)
Diagnosis and management of gynecologic conditions using evidence-based practices
Reproductive and sexual health education tailored to diverse patient needs
delivering inclusive, dignity-centered care to women with intellectual and developmental disabilities by adapting communication and care approaches to meet each patient’s needs.
