About The Position

The Ocean Community YMCA is seeking a positive, organized, and youth-focused Gymnastics Coordinator to support our recreational gymnastics program. This role works closely with the Gymnastics Director to ensure safe, high-quality classes that help youth build skills, confidence, and a love of movement. At the Y, we strengthen community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience coaching or working in youth sports (gymnastics preferred)
• Knowledge of gymnastics skills and spotting techniques
• CPR/AED/First Aid/Oxygen Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)

Nice To Haves

• USAG Safety Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support recreational gymnastics classes
• Provide guidance and coaching to part-time instructors
• Ensure safety standards and YMCA policies are followed
• Engage positively with families and participants
• Support scheduling, record-keeping, and program improvement
