About The Position

At The Ecclesial Schools, the mission is to expand access to extraordinary Christian education by creating schools where children receive a classical Christian curriculum regardless of financial means. The organization is seeking joyful and dedicated educators to join the faculty of its growing network of neighborhood schools in local churches across the greater Orlando area. This specific opportunity is for a talented and dedicated Physical Education teacher, referred to as a "Gymnastic Education" (GE) teacher, for grades K-8. GE teachers are expected to embody the school's mission by preparing engaging lessons, cultivating a rich classroom atmosphere, building relationships with students and parents, and committing to professional growth. They will train students to become faster, stronger, and more flexible, with a focus on using their bodies to love and serve their neighbor. ESI GE teachers will also coordinate and supervise K-6 athletic clubs and collaborate with the Athletic Director to promote athletics and physical fitness. The school emphasizes work-life balance by creating margins in teaching schedules and limiting programming outside of school hours, allowing teachers to focus on lesson planning. Collegiality and collaboration are fostered through grade-level or curriculum area teams that meet across campuses, supporting both individual professional growth and the academic mission of The Ecclesial Schools.
