About The Position

My Gym Children’s Fitness Center is a 700+ locations strong international corporation offering the BEST recreational fitness and gymnastics programs and blowout birthday parties for children ages 3 months to 10 years of age. Every day in more than 700 locations worldwide, My Gym kids attend structured, noncompetitive and age-appropriate classes and birthday parties taught by incredibly talented, fun, and happy grown-ups. We are looking for people who genuinely love children and are fun and outgoing. As a Lead Coach, you will be expected to lead and train other team members. You will be leading classes, parties, camps, and events.

Requirements

Ability to work 15-25 hours per week, including weekends
1 year of experience working with children in an active environment – types of prior experience: cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, coaching, daycare
Strong interpersonal skills – high spirited, helpful, welcoming
Effective communication skills – thorough with instructions with children, timely and thorough information to parents, appropriate escalation skills to the director, assistant director, and coworkers, excellent verbal and written skills
Effective team lead and motivational skills – demonstrate time management skills, room management, motivating in a positive manner
Exceptional Customer Service skills (with parents, children, walk-ins, responding courteously and professionally, focused on building, and supporting the gym)
Basic administrative and organizational skills – attentive to schedules/appointments, and gym organization
Successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Bring energy, drive, and hustle to the team
Ability to commute/relocate: Plano, TX 75093: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
