About the Role: Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer In this role, you will: Perform duties of mission analysis, flight dynamics, test analysis support, requirements verification, and system design Participate in issue resolution and develop solutions to complex technical problems Ensure sound technical content and timely resolution Apply experience and/or knowledge of hypersonic flight dynamics, reentry vehicle systems, and trajectory simulation techniques Utilize MATLAB for system architecture design and data analysis This position requires the candidate to work on-site full time. Successful applicants generally have at least 1+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline, such as Aerospace Engineering or other related field.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience using MATLAB and/or Simulink for planning and conducting system performance and simulation analysis
  • Knowledge of system design and flight vehicle architectures
  • Understanding of requirements verification
  • To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Final Secret clearance is required to start employment. Applicants must possess a currently active Secret security clearance to be considered qualified.
  • Selected candidates will be required to maintain a government issued Secret clearance for long term employment on this program.
