About The Position

Guest Services Support Specialists are among the first team members to welcome our winter guests, setting the tone for a positive guest experience. They assist with the sale of lift tickets, rentals, and season passes, provide accurate resort information, and resolve ticketing issues. The Swiss Valley staff works as a team, so you may also assist other departments as needed. A key responsibility of this role is troubleshooting problems related to ticket and pass scanning, particularly with the RFID gate system. Guest Services Support Specialists ensure the smooth operation of ticketing systems while delivering exceptional guest service. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and a calm, professional manner in fast-paced situations. Guest Services Support Specialists develop a thorough knowledge of all Swiss Valley products, including lift tickets and season passes, along with the related sales procedures and system operations. Flexibility in work hours and tasks is essential, as responsibilities may shift with business needs. Overall, this role is vital to enhancing the guest experience and supporting the efficient operation of the resort’s ticketing systems.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 15 years old by 11/1/2025 to apply.
  • All employees age 18+ will complete a background check upon hire.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills to interact with guests and coworkers effectively.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, software applications and troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Communication: Develop familiarity with all Swiss Valley’s ticketing and pass products. Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and supervisors. Provide information to guests in person and while assisting with phone calls.
  • Professionalism: Respond to all guests in a courteous and professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude. Positively contribute to the team effort by assisting other staff as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to ensure that guests enjoy their experience. Guest Services Support Specialists are in constant communication with our guests and must be friendly when assisting them, while being an ambassador for Swiss Valley.
  • Problem Solve: Solve problems effectively and resolve guest issues efficiently, especially during busy shifts.
