About The Position

FUNCTION: The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for leading the valet and bell desk teams. As often the first point of contact for guests, you display outstanding guest service and problem solving skills.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
  • Ability to drive a manual and automatic vehicle.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.
  • Minimum of 3 years safe driving experience.
  • Ability to provide outstanding guest service, every time, every guest.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks while demonstrating good time management.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including; Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
  • Alcohol Awareness Certification is required.
  • Valid Nevada driver’s license is required, with a clean 3-year DMV record.
  • Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, and move product up to 75 lbs.
  • Fine finger manipulation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee the parking operation staff, ensuring proper key handling, and safe efficient parking/retrieval of vehicles.
  • Ensure a smooth arrival and departure for Nugget guests, assisting in parking/retrieving vehicles in a timely manner.
  • Lead by example at all times, showing tact and diplomacy with difficult guests.
  • Handle guest related concerns, questions, claims, and service issues in a timely and professional manner in the absence of the Guest Services Manager.
  • Follow proper procedure and timely submittal of paperwork for team member or guest incidents/accidents.
  • May be responsible for approving time & attendance in the ADP system.
  • Maintain a work friendly environment and team atmosphere.
  • Display a strong level of communication with the Guest Services Manager, team members, upper Management, and guests.
  • Ability to anticipate the guests needs and exceed their expectations. Assure employees maintain high levels of guest service.
  • Move guest luggage to and from vehicle as needed.
  • Ensure a smooth arrival and departure for Nugget guests, assisting in parking/retrieving vehicles in a timely manner.
  • Lead by example at all times, showing tact and diplomacy with difficult guests.
  • Address guest concerns and or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Using the Nugget’s system of recognition, recognize team members who are going “above and beyond” as appropriate.
  • Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike.
  • Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager.
  • Maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same.
  • Regular predictable attendance is required.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
