Requirements

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Prior Customer Service Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • "Hands-on" approach to projects and initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and outgoing personality
  • Proactive with the ability to take initiative
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Complete work both independently and as an effective member of the team, adapting to changing requirements, deadlines, and priorities as needed
  • Communicate clearly and professionally through listening, speaking, and exceptional writing skills; remain professional and solutions-focused while interacting with others
  • Critical success criteria include attention to detail, organized approach to work, effective time management and follow-through
  • Effective cross-functional communicator
  • Requires flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • May involve standing for extended periods and walking throughout the property.
  • Frequent interaction with guest contact points requires a polished and professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Contact guests in advance of their Island trip to schedule activities, coordinate transportation, and understand personal preferences
  • Organize VIP events throughout the property at a 5-star resort level
  • Greet guests/residents as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition in a warm and authentic manner.
  • Act as the point of contact for guests who need assistance or information, ensuring prompt/courteous service to guests
  • Understand guest needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities on the Island
  • Effectively solve and respond to complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Gain familiarity and be the expert on property for information on the city’s geography, restaurants, amenities, clubs and tourism industries to provide accurate information and make suitable recommendations to guests/residents.
  • Assist at Front Desk and answer telephone within three rings with a smile and answer questions accordingly or transfer as needed.
  • Ensure public spaces are clean and organized.
  • Support marketing activities around property, bringing a guest-focused lens and VIP expectation lens to the process.
  • Review and respond to guest post-stay reviews.
