The Inn at Stonecliffe is seeking an energetic, experienced, and hands-on Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team! The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports the Housekeeping Team by ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas meet the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED. Post high school education preferred  
  • 1–2 years in a Rooms Division supervisory role within a full-service hotel
  • Familiarity with minibar operations, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and inventory control
  • Basic math skills   
  • HMS and/or experience using a property management system (PMS) 
  • Microsoft Office experience   
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing   
  • Strong leadership skills   
  • Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members   
  • Excellent time management skills   
  • Ability to walk extensively, climb stairs, and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak occupancy periods.
  • Frequent interaction with guest contact points may require a polished and professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Housekeeping Inspection & Quality Control
  • Conduct daily and periodic inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to verify cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to brand standards
  • Document inspection findings and report deficiencies to room attendants and the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Assist in developing and updating housekeeping checklists, SOPs, and inspection forms
  • Provide on-the-spot coaching and feedback to room attendants to maintain consistent service quality
  • Training & Team Development
  • Help train new room attendants on cleaning standards, inspection procedures, and minibar protocols
  • Monitor performance and recommend corrective action or additional coaching as needed
  • Minibar Oversight
  • Manage minibar inventory for all guestroom floors, ensuring timely restocking and correct par-level maintenance
  • Coordinate with Director of Food and Beverage to place orders for minibar supplies, track deliveries, and confirm invoice accuracy
  • Audit minibar charge records daily to reconcile consumption with guest folios and identify variances
  • Investigate and resolve minibar discrepancies, shrinkage, or billing errors in coordination with Front Office
  • Administrative & Reporting Duties
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results, minibar inventories, order logs, and training sessions
  • Prepare daily and weekly reports for the Housekeeping Manager covering room readiness, inspection scores, and minibar financial performance
  • Assist in setting minibar pricing, promotions, and package inclusions in collaboration with Revenue Management
