About The Position

Guest Services Representative- Residence Inn by Marriott Hazleton, PA The Hamister Group is currently seeking qualified individuals with a high level of professionalism to fill some front desk positions. The applicant must have strong communication skills and a desire to succeed in a busy hotel environment.

Requirements

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual.
  • Flexible availability and willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays, all shifts required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill
  • Friendly phone demeanor is a must.
  • An outgoing personality
  • Desire to succeed and self-motivated

Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests as they arrive.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately
  • Accommodate guest requests.
  • Take incoming phone calls and assist in any way needed.
  • Make guest reservations over the telephone or in person.
  • Assist guests by providing directions or recommending local amenities or attractions.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by resolving any problems in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Handle credit card or cash transactions
  • Maintain a clean and neat front desk area.
  • Process reports and handle end of shift paperwork and account balancing
  • Communicate professionally and thoroughly with all hotel associates.
