About The Position
The Guest Services Representative performs duties to provide customer service to the members and guests of the Buffalo Grove Fitness Center. This position is a part-time, year-round position. Must be able to work evenings from 4pm - 10:15pm on weekdays and weekends. Must also be available to work 3+ holiday shifts per year.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
- Customer service experience required.
Responsibilities
- Must have detailed computer knowledge and be able to learn new programs quickly. Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
- Greet and check in all members upon entering and leaving the facility.
- Answer incoming phone calls politely and professionally.
- Retrieve messages and transfer calls and messages to the appropriate department or person.
- Perform opening and closing procedures and paperwork including reconciling cash and sales made during the day and verifying the correct dollar amount to be deposited.
- Assist members in a friendly and pleasant manner during challenging situations.
- Clean the front desk as needed.
