About The Position

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, serves as patient liaison in a positive, friendly, and responsive manner to all internal and external customers. Demonstrates warmth, caring and sensitivity toward all people in and entering Edward Elmhurst Health locations by practicing responsible communication and offering assistance to customers. Provides accurate information, directions and intervention methods to meet customers' health care needs and make their experience at Edward Elmhurst Health a positive one

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED within six months of start date into position
Minimum one year of previous experience in a service position in an industry such as hotel, travel, or healthcare

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with Word, Excel & Epic
Possesses excellent customer service/public relations skills
Ability to assist patients in and out of vehicles and to push them in a wheelchair
