About The Position

In the Arena, every employee is expected to act as an Ambassador of the University. Provide every guest with a positive first impression of Grand Canyon University Arena by offering superior, individualized service. Scan Tickets, assist guests with questions, and show guests to their seats as assigned by the Guest Services Manager/ Supervisor. Provide GCU Arena guests with accurate event and arena information. Provide additional information and assistance at the Guest Services Counter. Enforce rules, including smoking policies and specific rules related to each event. Respond to emergencies by involving supervisors when needed. Appropriately handle guest problems or complaints and will contact a supervisor when intervention is required. Able to lift 25 pounds. Able to go up and down stairs. Other duties as assigned by management. Available to work Flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays. Arena employees operate as a TEAM, Specifically related to this job: Box Office, Security, and Arena Operations. This is a Part Time Employment, and your hours will be directly related to Arena Event---Please Take this into Consideration before Applying---Your Hours will NOT be Consistent.

  • Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP)standing with the University.
  • You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
