About The Position

The Guest Service Manager creates and maintains a welcoming, world-class experience for all guests as they navigate the attractions. They lead a team of individuals who joyfully engage guests throughout the park providing direction and offering options to enhance the guest experience. This position collaborates with other ministry departments, such as Events, Exhibit Maintenance, AV and Public Safety to ensure the best possible experience for our guests. The Guest Services Manager position has a career path that will develop your spiritual and professional growth goals by managing a large staff in a God-honoring fashion to achieve great results by tackling challenges while having fun along the way. Requirements

  • Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure scheduling of necessary staff and determine resources needed to meet service standards according to attendance forecasts.
  • Ensure guests understand daily programs, special events and add on experiences available.
  • Train staff in critical engagement zones to provide exciting and memorable experiences for guests.
  • Monitor and direct traffic flow at Ark entrance and within the Ark as needed.
  • Calibrate department to ensure proper operating standards and guest experience expectations are being met.
  • Perform continuous evaluation of processes to determine issues, prioritize needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prioritize the professional development of team members through one-on-one meetings, coaching and training opportunities.
  • Cultivate an environment with high levels of staff engagement and recognition.
  • Ensure safety of all guests and staff through strict adherence to all safety protocols, and collaboration with Risk & Safety and Public Safety departments.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, payroll and other administrative duties.
