About The Position
The City of Wentzville is seeking candidates interested in joining our Parks and Recreation team. Wentzville is one of the fastest-growing communities in the state. Come grow with us! The Guest Services Attendant serves as a front-line customer service representative for the Parks and Recreation facilities, providing courteous, professional, and positive service in all interactions with patrons and staff. The attendant relays information for certain activities or events and assists patrons with registrations, memberships, and facility rentals. This is a part-time position, not to exceed an average of 29 hours per week. This job posting will remain open until filled.
Requirements
- Prior relevant experience desired.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are required with 90 days of hire date.
- Ability to develop a basic competency level in the area of operation.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and systems to accomplish tasks.
- Ability to provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with supervisors, co-workers, and customers by telephone, in writing, and in person.
- Ability to use good judgment and think rationally in difficult or stressful situations.
- Ability to develop goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work, as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in the use of basic business software (word processing, spreadsheets, email, presentations) and basic office equipment.
- Ability to work under direct supervision and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Regular attendance is a necessary and essential job duty.
- Job requires being reliable, responsible and dependable.
