About The Position

The Guest Services Associate is responsible for managing routine office duties and guest service requests at the campground. As the face of the campground, this role requires a highly organized individual with exceptional customer service skills and a positive, can-do attitude. The Guest Services Associate will work closely with the General Manager, maintenance teams, and other staff members to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming environment for guests. This position reports directly to the General Manager. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the campground's success. Spacious Skies operates as a collective, and while this position is for a specific location, opportunities may arise to participate in efforts to grow the brand and operations. In some cases, this may include travel to assist at sister campgrounds.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computers, including sales tracking software, CRM tools, booking systems, POS software, email, and Microsoft Office 365.
  • A team player willing to assist others when needed.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and skill development.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud-based reservation systems (CampSpot preferred).
  • Knowledge of local attractions and outdoor activities is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Book and manage reservations using the cloud-based park management system.
  • Assist guests throughout their stay to ensure a positive experience.
  • Follow specific cash and credit card handling procedures, using the computer, cash register, credit card machines, and other administrative equipment correctly.
  • Answer all incoming calls on or before the second ring while staffed at the front desk.
  • Provide guests with information about local attractions, restaurants, services, and amenities.
  • Ensure proper communication with maintenance and other crews as necessary.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stocking and cleaning duties as assigned by management.
  • Clean and maintain all areas and accommodations to the highest standard of cleanliness within time limits.
  • Ensure housekeeping projects do not interfere with guests’ use of facilities and amenities.
  • Maintain equipment in good condition and ensure appropriate levels of consumables for housekeeping operations.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities and accommodations to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with campground policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Organize and assist with on site activities.
  • Report to the General Manager on operational and guest-related matters as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
