The Cambria Boston–Somerville is looking for a friendly, service‑driven Guest Service Agent to join our Front Desk team. Our hotel offers a modern, sophisticated experience designed for travelers who want to feel like locals—whether they’re staying for a night or a week. From arrival to departure, Guest Service Agents play a vital role in shaping our guests’ experience. You’ll be the first point of contact, setting the tone with a warm welcome and ensuring each stay feels effortless and elevated.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.  Multilingual a plus.
  • A guest-centric mindset
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours)
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Some college coursework preferred
  • Prior experience in hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming first impression
  • Manage guest check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently and accurately
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and the local area
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively resolve questions or concerns
  • Maintain an energetic, organized, and engaging lobby environment
  • Collaborate with other hotel teams to deliver seamless service
