Guest Room Attendants collaborate closely with housekeeping supervisors and other hotel staff to ensure timely room readiness and address any guest requests or concerns promptly. Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to creating a positive and memorable guest experience that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, and walking for extended periods.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, with a commitment to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies such as toiletries and linens.
  • Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report any damages or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries related to room amenities and housekeeping services.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize room cleaning schedules and ensure timely room availability for incoming guests.
