Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
  • Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report any damages or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
  • Ensure all guest amenities are stocked and arranged according to hotel standards.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries related to room services.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and hotel policies to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning assignments efficiently and effectively.
