About The Position

The Guest Relations Supervisor serves as an ambassador for Guest Services and the resort property, providing leadership to the Bell Desk, Shuttle Services, and Front Drive teams while overseeing the department’s day-to-day operations to ensure a smooth and welcoming guest experience.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record for motor vehicle record check.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Requires physical stamina and the ability to work indoors and outdoors, remain on your feet for extended periods, climb stairs, and move quickly for short distances as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Work from the Guest Services Desk to dispatch Bell calls.
  • Train staff on daily duties including the Forbes arrival/departure process, loading/unloading vehicles & carts, guest communication and engagement as well as other miscellaneous tasks.
  • Drive the shuttle, run luggage, ski or snowboard equipment or valet vehicles as needed.
  • Responsible for supervising the shuttle and valet services.
  • Ensure all guests’ packages and luggage are stored, tracked and delivered seamlessly, quickly and accurately.
  • Coordinate the support staff and their daily responsibilities.
  • Consistently maintain an upbeat and positive attitude with guests and colleagues.
  • Ensuring the guest service & transportation desk supplies are stocked.
  • Vehicle and workplace inspections throughout the shift.
  • Keep daily logbooks of various tasks.
  • Ensure the guest arrival and departure experience exceeds Forbes Standards.
  • Assist in overseeing scheduling of staff.
  • Must be comfortable having frequent casual and professional conversations. Must communicate in an upbeat and positive tone, volume and inflection.
  • Interact with departments and assist in solving situations.
  • Use problem solving and decision-making skills to act in the best interest of the department and company
  • Assist in overseeing the hiring, advising, coaching, disciplinary action and termination of team members
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership.
