About The Position

Embody the mission, values, and common purpose of the SOXtraordinary Squad who represent the Chicago White Sox. Provide high-level customer service and problem-solving techniques for both the fans and staff of Rate Field.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma
  • Excellent speaking voice, bilingual capabilities are a plus
  • Must have previous 3 years of customer service experience
  • Available for at least 80% of the events at Rate Field.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ideal candidate exhibits strong problem-solving skills and professional judgement
  • Ability to respond with adaptive service for guests with disabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent speaking voice, bilingual capabilities are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all guests enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere while attending the game
  • Be an expert on all service and unique amenities at the ballpark to provide each fan with unique experience
  • Provide immediate comprehensive issue resolution to every guest
  • Provide accurate directions to gates, seating locations, concessions, restrooms, and other key areas of the ballpark
  • Assist guests with disabilities, ensuring all needs are met by providing reasonable accommodation.
  • Communicate and assist in the resolution of any issues that arise in partnership with the command center and Soxtraordinary Squad members
  • The ability to navigate a variety of computer software.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
