Strong customer service orientation is a must, complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create rapport with both guests and donors alike. You'll need to handle sensitive situations with the utmost confidentiality, maintaining decorum at all times. Requirements

  • Ability to handle and address sensitive situations with confidentiality, decorum, and protocol.
  • Experience working overnight or willingness to adapt to overnight schedules.
  • Housekeeping or cleaning experience or willingness to perform duties.
  • Strong customer service skills with compassion and professionalism.
  • Ability to learn and work with database systems (training provided).
  • Reliable transportation for occasional supply pickups (mileage reimbursed).
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality, decorum, and empathy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Must meet healthcare requirements of partner hospital, complete biannual CPR training and annual fire alarm training.
  • Demonstrates understanding and sensitivity toward the intersections of ability, class, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, race, religion/spirituality, and sexual orientation.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish proficiency/Bilingual ability strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional guest service and support during overnight hours
  • Assist with guest needs and requests in a compassionate, family-centered manner
  • Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies while supporting families
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, keeping shared spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for families
  • May assist with turning over guest rooms as needed
  • Ensure proper guest registration and check-out procedures
  • Learn and use database systems to track guest information and generate reports
