About The Position

The Faena Guest Experience Curator delivers unique services and amenities carefully tailored to each guest staying at the hotel. With the highest level of sophistication, discretion and anticipation the Faena Butler greets every guest at the doorsteps of a perfectly prepared guest suite. The finest amenities paired with personal attention by a dedicated Faena Butler await every guest throughout their stay. Traditional butler services are matched with the demands of today’s luxury traveler to create memorable experiences throughout. They are the main point of contact for guests staying in the signature suites. Making guests happy and comfortable. They ensure that the guests are given a good experience during their stay. This full-time position has an hourly compensation of $36.00 per hour.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years related experience
Luxury experience required
Excellent communication skills
Interpersonal skills
Problem solving skills
Organizational and management skills
Ability to multitask
Candidates should be able to perform basic computer operations with sufficient knowledge of Microsoft office suite
Flexible, adaptable and discreet
Discretion, meticulous attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces
Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
Ability to remain in stationary position for 8 hours or more.
Walking and standing are required for the rest of the working day.
Availability to work when the hotel Is open: This includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
CPR and First Aid certified
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of constantly to move objects.
May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards
Maintains complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
Resolves guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
Monitors and maintains cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
Maintains complete knowledge of All Faena guests.
Maintains complete knowledge of Scheduled daily activities
Maintains complete knowledge of In-house groups
Maintains complete knowledge of Hotel extension numbers
Maintains complete knowledge of All special requests (wake up calls, DND, etc.)
Maintains complete knowledge of Hours of operation of each outlet
Maintains complete knowledge of Features and services provided by the hotel
Acts as the final gatekeeper of room preparedness and fulfillment of guest request/preference items collected by the guest experience team
Facilitates garment pressing, shoeshine etc.
Assists with maintenance of each room daily, refreshing water and daily amenity
Assists with departure plans on the day prior to departure; assists guests upon departure
Communicates with all housekeeping team members to ensure all guestrooms and suites are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard.
Coordinates with all housekeeping the timing for occupied guestroom servicing based on guest preference.
Meets arriving guests at the guestroom doorstep upon arrival or within 5 minutes after entering a guest room
Offers detail room orientation, complimentary pressing, and fresh bucket of ice upon arrival of guest.
Coordinates room service with in-room dining and assist in preparing the room for a meal.
Maintains butler pantry and keep inventory of all items.
Coordinated guest requests with Guest Experience Manager and Concierge team.
Always remain well-groomed
Perform all duties with professionalism and a pleasant demeanor
