About The Position

The Guest Experience Associate is a brand ambassador and essential frontline representative for Snow Peak, creating excellent experiences for Campfield guests. Reporting to the Campfield Assistant General Manager, this position supports day-to-day operations of guest check-in, guest field support, and rentals.

Requirements

  • 1 year working in a hospitality environment preferred.
  • Extraordinary customer service.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Basic mathematics and cash handling.
  • Basic knowledge of operating computers and POS (point-of-sales) systems.
  • Reliable and professional.
  • Friendly and engaging with all types of people.
  • Ability to gracefully adapt to periodic and rapid change.
  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Manage check-in and check-out functions, greet guests, and provide an elevated, upbeat, welcoming atmosphere.
  • Provide orientation information and directions to guests, including speaking knowledgeably about Snow Peak gear, Campfield operations, food, outdoor recreation, and the local environment.
  • Respond to guest questions and escalate issues to lead or manager as needed.
  • Aid guests in transporting gear to and from campsites and provide site set-up support, as needed.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately in alignment with POS procedures.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Campstore, Wash House, Gatehouse, and Ofuro Spa.
  • Support sales and merchandising of gear, apparel, supplies, food, and beverage at the Campstore.
  • Educate customers on brand history, products, offers, promotions, and events.
  • Increase sales and rentals by connecting with customers and making relevant suggestions.
  • Execute all operational processes effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all health, safety, and security rules are followed.
  • Contribute to a positive working environment by being approachable, respectful, responsible, and team-oriented.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
