The Global IT Resource & Vendor Supplier Relationship Intern supports and improves technology resources and vendor management processes.

Requirements

Enrolled college student with 2027 - 2028 graduation date
MS Excel, large pivot tables, formulas and charts
Interest in Resource Management at enterprise level
Interest in HR, Talent Management, Procurement
Verbal and written communication skills – must be comfortable speaking and writing to various technical and procurement business resources
Able to work Central Time Zone hours
Good relationship building skills, with the ability to maintain solid partnerships while challenging the status quo

Responsibilities

Support the IT Resource Supplier Preferred Vendor Program: Responsibilities include managing resource requests and processes, governance, SLAs, communications, change management, vendor scorecards, CSAT, and other performance metrics.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal consulting, procurement, and finance teams to develop and analyze comprehensive data related to resource costs and locations.
Drive Supplier Optimization: Continuously identify and implement efficiencies, while managing and optimizing supplier relationships, services, and SLAs.
Project Management: Oversee reporting and initiatives for other assigned projects
Communication: Attend daily calls to enhance knowledge and understanding of vendor governance processes and key components
Collaborate with Outsourced/Offshore IT Vendors: Partner with professional services IT vendors to ensure effective service delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
Utilize Vendor Management System (VMS): Leverage the VMS tool to generate and analyze reports for vendor performance and operational insights.
Coordinate with Reporting Specialists: Work closely with reporting specialists to understand and interpret data from various sources.
Support Vendor Management Office (VMO): Assist the VMO in preparing information for Customer Satisfaction Surveys (CSAT), conducting analysis, and overseeing change management initiatives.
