About The Position

GitKraken is seeking a GTM Engineer to join the marketing team to design, manage, and administer scalable systems that drive go-to-market efficiency. In this hands-on role, you'll bridge our technical product capabilities and our go-to-market execution, creating scalable processes that minimize manual work and unlock revenue bottlenecks. You'll serve as the technical architect of our HubSpot ecosystem, building automation workflows and ensuring data quality that enables our Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Product Marketing teams to focus on what they do best - growing our business and delighting developers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on HubSpot CRM administration experience across multiple hubs
  • Proven track record of building complex automated workflows and custom-coded actions
  • Experience with HubSpot's Data Quality Command Center and governance best practices
  • Proficiency with RESTful APIs and integration platforms like Zapier or Tray.io
  • Experience connecting CRMs with developer tools and/or product analytics platforms
  • 2-4 years in RevOps, Marketing Operations, or similar GTM-focused technical roles
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, buyer journeys, and B2B revenue processes
  • Track record of identifying process bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions
  • Sales and renewals pipeline and reporting
  • Marketing & demand conversion performance management and attribution
  • Ability to work effectively across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams
  • Strong documentation skills for creating process guides and training materials
  • Systematic problem-solving approach with a bias toward action and continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • HubSpot certifications (Revenue Operations, Marketing Software, Sales Software)
  • Experience with developer-focused SaaS products and technical buyer personas
  • Background with AI-powered automation tools and predictive analytics

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HubSpot administrator across all hubs (Sales, Marketing, Service, Operations), maintaining system health and optimizing performance
  • Build sophisticated automated workflows that eliminate manual tasks and reduce context switching for our GTM teams
  • Design and implement custom-coded actions and advanced automations to streamline complex multi-step processes
  • Configure seamless integrations between HubSpot and our developer tooling tech stack through APIs and native connections
  • Connect HubSpot to our AI systems (Claude and ChatGPT) to bring the power of this data into our AI workflows.
  • Establish and maintain bulletproof data quality standards using HubSpot's automation tools and validation rules
  • Build comprehensive reporting dashboards that provide actionable insights across the entire customer journey
  • Create automated data enrichment workflows, utilizing Clay, that keep our prospect and customer information fresh and actionable
  • Design dynamic routing logic to ensure leads reach the right team members at the right time
  • Build automated renewal and upsell workflows with proper pipeline management and forecasting
  • Implement intelligent lead scoring and propensity to buy models based on firmographic, demographic, product engagement, and behavioral indicators
  • Develop attribution models that accurately track the customer journey from awareness to advocacy
  • Support direct users and indirect stakeholders across our entire GTM organization
  • Create training materials and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for new processes and system updates
  • Collaborate with our Product team to integrate usage analytics for better lead qualification and customer health scoring
  • Create proper campaign tracking and attribution across all touchpoints
