About the role: As a GSS Power BI Analyst you will oversee the development based on user requirements and regular updates and maintenance of Power BI dashboards. You will provide dashboard support for the APX Enterprise Project Management Office as a priority with additional support and development for the global organization. We have 2 opportunities for GSS Power BI Analysts. You will report to the BR&A PowerBI Manager and be located at Cranberry Township, PA location. Hybrid Work Schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  • 2+ years experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of dashboarding tools (data analysis and presentation)
  • A general understanding of systems and data quality
  • Intermediate or better proficiency in Power BI, including DAX (Data Analysis Expression) and Power Query (M Query)

Nice To Haves

  • Tableau, Qlik, or other data visualization tool experience to be considered
  • Knowledge of SQL and understanding of data modeling concepts and relational databases
  • Experience with data integration from multiple sources; databases, spreadsheets, SharePoint, or cloud services
  • Data visualization and user interface design skills

Responsibilities

  • Design and create Power BI reports and data models based on our requirements
  • Communicate with partners and leadership to understand and define reporting needs
  • Build data views, models, and reports to meet our needs and lead data insights
  • Create documentation including requirements, design, and end-user guides
  • Identify data issues and collaborate with group to help with data governance
  • Interpret data to guarantee usefulness
  • Give feedback on data collection that improve efficiencies and data quality
