About The Position

This role is for a Security Officer Dispatch Communications in Milpitas, CA, serving and safeguarding clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. As a Dispatch Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor activity, coordinate responses to security-related concerns, and support daily operations through clear communication and strong situational awareness. This position combines technology, teamwork, and customer service to help maintain an organized environment, emphasizing integrity in every interaction while supporting a caring, reliable, and innovative team.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, cameras, alarms, and site activity to help support timely reporting of incidents, unusual activity, and/or requests for assistance.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and transportation-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts, drivers, and/or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, dispatch records, and other required documentation related to arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or after-hours activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
