About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a GSE Maintenance Team Lead to support the GSE Team based out of San Antonio, TX. Position Responsibilities: Supervise the repairs and maintenance of GSE equipment and demonstrate experience in these areas. Responds to service calls and resolves a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Follows safety procedures and regulations. Interprets basic electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics. Utilizes a variety of hand and powered shop tools to repair equipment. Works with electrical systems and electronic components of industrial GSE equipment, following manuals, schematic, and other specifications. Ensures the operation of mechanical equipment by supervising and directing preventive maintenance and repairs to GSE equipment as needed. Follows the operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to maintain and troubleshoot malfunctions. Under general guidance, reviews customer requirements and may evaluate product capabilities. May receive specialized equipment training. Provide training to peers and/or customers on the general use of equipment. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the San Antonio, TX Campus. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Ground Support Equipment maintenance
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics (preferably electrical, mechanical and pneumatic)
  • Willing and able to work any shift including weekends, as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Maximo CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Experience using MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel at a minimum)
