Requirements

  • Advanced level of knowledge of financial analysis, marketing, technology, strategic planning, management
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to aid in interactions with senior management, other departments, and industry
  • Capabilities required include resiliency, adaptability, self-confidence, organized, achievement-orientated, collaborative, and openness to new experiences
  • Knowledge, skills are other capabilities are typically acquired through an MBA or equivalent and at least 10 years experience, some which should be in a top-tier strategy consulting role

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and strengthen Helmsman's relationships with its carrier partners. Continuously work to optimize these relationships in conjunction with Helmsman and Claims senior leadership teams.
  • Oversee all work performed by carrier operations team to ensure that all carrier requirements, regulatory requirements and operational guidelines are executed upon.
  • Work with Service and Sales teams to build and maintain reporting for account specific KPIs for customers, provide analytical support for prospects and RFPs, and provide support for adhoc requests.
  • Partner with Sales and Service on new reporting and/or enhancements to meet customer and market requests, and ensure that Helmsman provides industry leading analytics data to our customers.
  • Collaborate with Claim Analytics on overall Helmsman book results to support Helmsman's strategic priorities, provide insights to the leadership team and support customer data and benchmarking requests.
  • Leads, directs and has full management accountability for staff with an emphasis on employee selection, development, succession planning and performance.
