About The Position

The Group Sales & Service Specialist representative will provide operational support for the group ticket transactions of the Attractions Sales Team and will provide high-level service to all group clients. Coordinate with the Sales team, Ticketing team, Opry House, Ryman Auditorium, and partnered restaurants to facilitate group reservations for all attractions while handling incoming calls and emails for reservations and information requests. Maintain excellent relationships with all clients, which requires a detailed understanding of all group sales contracts and ensuring agreed-upon rates, payment schedules, ticket pick-up, etc., are adhered to. Maintain an in-depth understanding of all ticketing systems, including accurate order entry, report generation, and troubleshooting utilizing order history information, etc. Responsible for sales of group packages, including arranging the client itinerary with proper order entry to maintain accurate package costs, confirmation, and payment collection. Make or correct changes to group orders when requested per client and update the correct contacts for each change, including any date/time changes or increases/reductions. Contact clients to follow-up on payments due prior to the final due date and follow up with sales managers for any clients that request exceptions to policy. Responsible for courtesy calls prior to a scheduled visit to engage with the customer, confirm details of reservations, number of buses, etc. Create and maintain any orders booked through partnered third-party clients. Maintain plaza performance calendar, including communication with all venues regarding upcoming performance, ordering and coordinating the delivery of posters, and assisting with on-site setup. Act as show MOD on assigned dates to assist with group needs, including greeting buses, ticket collection, and assisting with any group issues. Performs other duties as assigned Regular and reliable attendance is an expectation of this job.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some higher education preferred
  • One year of customer service experience required
  • Ability to deal with both internal and external customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Strong organization skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks (moving quickly from one to the other) required
  • Must be a self-starter and self-motivated
  • Strong Microsoft Office application and PC skills required
  • Valid driver's license

  • Knowledge of ticketing and ticketing systems preferred
