About The Position

The Group Sales Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center is responsible for driving group sales revenue through proactive business development and relationship management. This role focuses on identifying and securing new group opportunities, building long-term client partnerships, and supporting the hotel’s overall revenue strategy. The position is primarily focused on the Northeast market (PA, NJ, NY), with additional responsibility for national accounts and key strategic partners such as Maritz and Conference Direct.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in group sales, business development, or account management, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with a high level of professionalism
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to exceptional client service
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and travel
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell group business within assigned markets through proactive outreach, direct sales calls, networking, trade shows, and client travel
  • Partner closely with the Commercial and Revenue teams to solicit, negotiate, and confirm group business aligned with budgeted sales goals
  • Develop and execute a targeted sales plan, building a strong pipeline through market research, prospecting, and data-driven lead generation
  • Negotiate and finalize group contracts to achieve maximum profitability while meeting client needs
  • Build strong relationships with corporate, association, and incentive clients, as well as CVBs, tourism authorities, and the Four Seasons global sales network
  • Conduct property tours, site inspections, and client entertainment to promote hotel offerings and strengthen client engagement
  • Maintain accurate account activity and market intelligence using Golden and Salesforce systems
  • Participate in sales blitzes, client events, and hotel-sponsored initiatives, supporting operational teams during peak business periods as needed
