About The Position

Join Our Team as a Group Sales Manager at Parks Hospitality Group in Cary, NC, representing four hotels: DoubleTree by Hilton Raleigh-Cary, Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh-Cary, Homewood Suites by Hilton Raleigh Cary I-40, and Comfort Suites Regency Park. Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Group Sales Manager to generate revenue by identifying and securing new group business, including groups requiring meeting and event space, maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, and executing strategies to maximize sales opportunities across various market segments. This role supports the Area Director of Sales in achieving revenue goals and contributes to the overall success of each hotel’s sales efforts.

Requirements

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in sales tools and software, including CRM systems.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals and executing effective sales strategies.
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of hotel operations, sales systems, and the local market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and identify new group opportunities within assigned market segments.
  • Create and execute sales action plans to achieve individual and team revenue goals.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person site tours, presentations, and meetings with prospective clients to showcase guest rooms, meeting space, and event capabilities
  • Negotiate group contracts and agreements, ensuring all terms align with the hotel’s policies and revenue objectives.
  • Proactively solicit group business opportunities, including groups with and without meeting or event space, and develop creative solutions to maximize total revenue.
  • Coordinate with operational departments, including catering and events teams, to ensure seamless execution of group programs and event requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized sales records, including client profiles, contracts, and communications.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports detailing progress and opportunities within assigned segments.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry-related functions to promote the hotel and build client relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
