About The Position

The Group Sales Coordinator supports the execution of group sales and reseller programs while assisting with day-to-day guest experience operations. This role serves as a key onsite support partner to the Guest Experience Manager, General Manager, and Central Admissions Team by coordinating group sales activity, maintaining relationships with groups and resellers, and ensuring accurate order processing and guest communication. While this role does not own sales strategy or departmental leadership, the Group Sales Coordinator plays an important role in delivering 452 Hospitality through organized execution, proactive communication, and frontline guest support.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of established group sales and reseller strategies in partnership with the Guest Experience Manager and Central Admissions Team
  • Serve as an onsite point of contact for group and reseller inquiries, providing timely and accurate information
  • Assist with outreach and coordination for corporate, community, and school group partnerships, including local businesses and schools
  • Coordinate school group and field trip sales processes, including scheduling, communication, and operational details
  • Process all group sales and reseller orders within the POS system, including customer setup, payment terms, invoicing, and basic accounts receivable tracking
  • Maintain organized records related to group sales activity, reservations, and partner communications
  • Deliver 452 Hospitality to ensure a positive and memorable experience with every group interaction
  • Support daily guest experience operations relevant to SSA oversight
  • Assist the Guest Experience Manager with frontline team coordination, including training support, daily assignments, and shift coverage
  • Ensure frontline teams have accurate information to efficiently support guests and respond to inquiries
  • Support Contact Center operations by assisting with call coverage and guest follow-up as needed
  • Assist with the execution of established performance incentives for frontline staff
  • Observe and report guest experience opportunities or concerns to the Guest Experience Manager
  • Support service recovery efforts by assisting with guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints when needed
  • Follow and support established cash handling procedures in collaboration with the Administrative Operations team
  • Report POS system issues to appropriate leadership and the SSA IT Systems team
  • Maintain knowledge of and compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable local, state, and federal laws
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support the operation
  • Promote an inclusive, supportive, and respectful environment for team members and guests
  • Support sustainability and conservation initiatives through daily work practices
  • Participate in community engagement and unit-led initiatives that support giving back
