Group Sales Associate
About The Position
The Group Sales Associate will primarily lead and assist with the entry of all groups. This position will have you greeting groups outside as they arrive, efficiently managing the entry of small and large groups, and providing directions and information. This position will assist the Group Sales Lead with office work after appropriate training which includes but is not limited to – preparing for the next day, answering and responding to calls/emails, processing group requests, invoicing groups, taking payments, helping to track down past payments. You must be able to work outside in all weather conditions as the group check-in process occurs outdoors in front of the Greensboro Science Center. This is a part-time, non-exempt position. This position averages between 20-25 hours per week. Shifts begin at 8:40am and last between four and six hours, Monday through Friday. During our slower season, shifts will be assigned in the admissions, membership, and carousel departments after appropriate training to supplement hours, if interested.

- Ability to stand upwards of four hours during shifts.
- Outgoing and proactive personality.
- Strong communication and customer services skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
