Nexus-East Bethel is looking to add a Group Mental Health Therapist to join our new youth & teen psychiatric residential treatment facility! Nexus Family Healing is a national nonprofit network of mental health agencies with over 50 years of restoring hope for thousands of children and families through outpatient/community mental health services, foster care, adoption, and residential treatment. Position Summary: Facilitate and manage therapeutic group programming for youth within a trauma-informed framework. The Group Therapist will lead evidence-based group sessions focused on skill-building, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness, while fostering a safe and inclusive environment. Provide clinical feedback on group dynamics and youth progress, collaborate with the treatment team, and engage families through support groups. Contribute to discharge planning by recommending ongoing group or specialized therapy needs.
