The Group Leader Technical Services I applies comprehensive knowledge and experience to solve complex or system problems, typically solved by reference to maintenance manuals or similar documents. This role maintains all training equipment in the Training Center to the highest level. The supervisor may review work for general compliance with accepted practices. The position may also provide technical guidance and instruction to less proficient technicians. As a regulatory coordinator, the role involves direct coordination with the regulatory authority (FAA) to ensure the simulator meets federal requirements, overseeing the simulator Quality Management System, software compliance, and safety management system.
