ECHO Incorporated is looking a hands-on Group Lead – Warehouse Receiving responsible for the accurate and efficient day-to-day operations of LTL, FTL, and receiving activities. This role ensures the safe, compliant, and timely handling of incoming and outgoing materials, including finished goods and hazardous materials. The Receiving Warehouse Group Lead operates forklifts, stand-up lift trucks, and other material handling equipment while leading team members to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards. 1st Shift M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm starting at $18.50/HR! Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of distribution experience.
  • Excellent math and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy of packed and palletized products prior to shipment.
  • Manage incoming inventory by unloading trucks, inspecting goods, and verifying quantities against documentation.
  • Accurately document all incoming and outgoing shipments in a timely manner.
  • Lead, train, coach, and discipline team members using sound communication and motivational techniques.
  • Assist in planning daily workflow and manpower allocation to meet daily and weekly production schedules.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained warehouse environment, including receiving docks and staging areas.
  • Support the Supervisor in identifying staffing needs and delegating tasks according to pick-pack-ship workflow requirements.
  • Collaborate with Distribution Center Leaders and Supervisors to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Partner with the Supervisor to identify root causes of quality defects and recommend process improvements to prevent recurrence.
  • Complete all required reports and records accurately and within designated timeframes.
