About The Position

As an Warehouse Lead, you will serve as the frontline operational leader, bridging efforts between hourly staff and management. This role ensures seamless day-to-day warehouse operations, upholds safety and quality standards, and supports continuous improvement and staffing continuity, including covering for call-offs and providing flexible shift support.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years in an industrial manufacturing and/or warehouse environment preferred
  • Prior forklift or tow motor experience preferred. Ability to be certified is required.
  • Proven ability to successfully meet customer and management deadlines.
  • Works in varying weather conditions and performs physical tasks such as climbing in and out of trucks and trailers.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipping.
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager with process implementation to enhance productivity, inventory accuracy, and customer service.
  • Provide input to the Manager on performance metrics and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct routine safety and equipment checks; ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Train, mentor, and provide coaching to warehouse team members; assist with onboarding, performance feedback, and acknowledging excellent performance.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts, discrepancies reporting, and documentation of stock movements.
  • Maintain organized and clean workspaces, ensuring audit readiness and adherence to housekeeping standards.
  • Step in during staff absences or call-offs to maintain operational continuity across shifts.
