The Group Home Manager works alongside the Program Manager to help oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a Supported Living Site. He or she supervises and coordinates the activities of Direct Support Professionals and manages the operations of the Supported Living Site. The Group Home Manager is responsible for fulfilling the requirements of the staffing plan, household budgeting, household functions, and notifying the Program Manager and/or Nurse of any and all issues concerning the residents or the home. The Group Home Manager maintains close contact with guardians and conservators and participates in the shared planning process. This is a Live-in position meaning Cornerstone will provide you with a personal apartment. The Group Home Manager function has been designated Essential, which means that, in the event of an emergency (including inclement weather conditions), your position has been determined to be critical to the support of our business operations. If you are directed to report to work just before, during or after inclement weather or any other form of emergency, you are obligated to comply if you are scheduled to work on your agreed upon or designated shift. Essential Personnel provide services that relate directly to the health, safety, and welfare of the individuals and company during times of emergencies. This is a condition of employment.
