About The Position

REACH is seeking a compassionate, organized Group Home Manager to oversee daily operations, staff, and resident care within an assisted living home supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership experience in caregiving, disability services, or residential programs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, education, or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Valid Alaska Driver’s License, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance
• Must pass background check
• CPR, First Aid, and TB clearance required within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise Direct Service Professionals (DSPs)
• Ensure residents’ daily living needs, health, and safety are met
• Maintain compliance with state licensing and agency standards
• Oversee home budgets, supplies, and required documentation
• Collaborate with guardians, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment
• Participate in program management, meetings, and professional development
• Provide hands-on support when needed, including assistance with personal care
