About the Role: Group Home Team Lead Responsible for ensuring the residents’ personal needs are met by establishing therapeutic relationships that will support growth and independence yet ensure the safety and well-being of the residents. responsible for assisting the Group Home Administrator with the monthly processing of all required documentation and staff scheduling for the assigned home. conduct training with the residents related to activities of daily living and other prioritized objectives ensure that the individuals served are engaged in productive in-house and community activities as appropriate. document consumers’ medical related needs and transport residents to appointments implement formal programs and to systematically monitor each individual’s progress through the collection of meaningful data by the prescribed methods stated in each program. maintain the filing of medical records; to maintain the communication log; to maintain van logs and perform monthly reports. set up the scheduling for the group home on a weekly basis. All schedules will be approved by the Group Home Administrator.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Associate’s degree or some college preferred.
  • 4+ years working with people who have developmental disabilities/ Intellectual disabilities required, preferably in residential settings.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office required Excel/Word/Outlook.
  • Must complete Professional Crisis Management Training (provided).
  • Valid FL driver’s license and successful Level II background check, physical and drug screen.
  • Must be 21 years old or older.
  • Must be a DSPATHS graduate or complete the course within a year of hire.
  • Must take the 20 ABA course.
  • Must be able to take and pass Medication Administration.
